What's up With That?
Monday for me was ushered in with a real bang! This morning as I'm getting settled into my seat on the train, like I always do, I place my shoulder bag and lunch bag on the top shelf. The shelf doesn't have a flat bottom, it has rods. Suddenly my sandwich slips out of the bag. It tumbles through the rods, bounces off the head of the unsuspecting person in the seat underneath, and lands on the seat next to her. I profusely apologize and lean in to fetch my sandwich. As I'm doing so, the victim of my inadvertent sandwich assault, snatches the sandwich and flings it on the floor. I'm aghast. (Was that really necessary?). I pick up my sandwich and mutter under my breath "bitch" and sit down. My ears perk up as I hear her retort "yes I am". I don't know about you, but I wouldn't take pride in someone calling me a bitch. To each is own I guess. Nevertheless, despite the hostile reaction that I received from the lady, I want to thank her. She taught me a lesson. The lesson is to not take things so seriously. I think her reaction would've been more justified if I konked her on the head with a book or something like that. But a sandwich? It was like a scene out of the Three Stooges.

see now if that were me, I would have whipped the sandwich at her. Open faced.
HA! That would've been genius. Wish I could think that quick.
Good post, interesting story!
