Hale to the Wilderness

Today a group of us from work volunteered at Hale Reservation.  Our dedicated site was at Noanet Pond.  Being a Scorpio, I was thrilled to take in the magnificent water view while I raked, cleared trees, and spread organic fertilizer.  The compay that I am employed by is a massive accounting firm.  I enjoyed meeting some of the people that I correspond with exclusively by email.  Meeting someone in person and having the chance to build a rapport really does have a positive influence over your professional relationship.   It's interesting that at gatherings like these, people's true personalities tend to surface.  There is always someone that takes command.

Overall it was a great way to spend the day and to show my appreciation for the work that goes into maintaining a beautiful piece of land.

This is wonderful. I wish my company did things like this.
