It's My Birthday

 

Going out for a nice dinner to celebrate your birthday, and the waitstaff comes over and sings happy birthday to you.  Let me check my list, hmmm yep that's #350 of the most memorable moments of my life.  This happened to me earlier this evening at The Twin Oaks restaurant.  The place has that mafia feel.  All the wait staff? Males.  The food is delicious and the portions are abundant.    

As I mourn my final days(sniff) as a thirty-something, I ,in memorandum, present you with a list of some of my memories from the last decade:

I moved to the apartment with the sometimes amazing sunsets
I bought my VW bug
I paid off my VW bug :)
I visited San Antonio, TX
I visited Fort Meyers, FL and Sanabel Island
I rescued my sweet lil Bella cat
I got a new tattoo
I learned to knit
I saw U2 in concert
My niece and nephew were born
I reunited with some old friends
I made some new ones
I met honey pie
I started gardening
I took a drawing class
I was co dj of a radio show
I became a "commuter"
I wrote for a magazine
I discovered blogging

I will continue with daily updates as I countdown the last four days of life in my thirties.   4 days, 12 hours and 33 min.
