What distinguishes Anaximander from the rest of the philosophers is that all of his theories have come true. Society embraced these ideas and manifested a structure in which to live by, learn, and teach.
The universal symbol of the earth is a globe which depicts land, water and clouds. Anaximander believed that the universe had much more depth and called this phenomenon Apeiron.(a limitless, endless, ageless mass that continually produces new materials from which the physical universe is derived)
Humans are in harmony with plants which are a vital source of oxygen. On our earth exists the elements:
Water: which we drink to survive
Air: which we breath to survive
Fire: which in simpler times, we cooked and stayed warm by
Throughout the course of the year we celebrate the changing of the seasons. We even have names for them. The changing of the seasons, bring in some regions, severe fluctuation of temperature. (hot and cold which are opposites) We further accept and validate opposites as we pass in and out of daytime and nighttime and experience daylight savings time.
The science of meteorology was born. As a result, humans forecast short term and long term weather patterns. Astronauts have visited the moon and their fellow astronomers continue to study and research the galaxy. All of a sudden, Pluto isn't a planet anymore. (If you are a Scorpio like me, you might disagree since it is the planet that we are ruled by)
