"Excuse me". She doesn't budge. I repeat myself, "excuse me". No reaction. The train is chugging through Ruggles Station and will be stopping at Back Bay in a matter of minutes. I need to get up to retrieve my coat from the rack above, but she is standing in the aisle right next to me. Maybe she has no room? I turn around and there is about 4 feet of empty space infront of her. Why won't she step forward to make some room? I stand up and squeeze behind her and the seat. I say excuse for a third time. She nudges me back out of spite. Aghast, I put my coat on. Now I need to reach back into the seat to gather my tote and pocketbook. Sigh. "Excuse Me". It's no good, I can't reach. This evil woman is steadfast in her conviction to not give me some space. The passenger I was sitting with looks up at the woman in disbelief and kindly passes my belongings to me over the seat.
What the f&$k? What is the matter with people?
