Garnish

My boyfriend and I decided to dine at Morin's Restaurant Saturday night.  Both of us agreed that the scallops wrapped in bacon was an excellent choice for the appetizer.  You can imagine our disappointment when we were served an 8" bowl of spinache leaves and diced tomatos with a skimpy 4 scallops.  Now obviously the chef was trying to compensate for the lack of scallops with greens.  I'm sure you can imagine how lame 4 scallops would've looked on a plate for $8.99.  But why waste all the greens?   I mean they weren't fooling anyone.  Did they really think they were going to be able to deceive us into not thinking the serving was chintzy? At one point my boyfriend turned to Gabe, our waiter, and asked "Hey, what happened to all the scallops?"

was there at least bacon? lol
