Green Thumb

There is something very nurturing in nurturing something else. I don't have children, but I have plants. Plants are not only a source of oxygen, but visually enhance your environment. I own one plant in particular, called a "Croton" plant, that is very high maintenance. It requires bright light, high humidity, and moist soil constantly. It is commonly found in tropical climates such as Florida & Puerto Rico. But, if you can grasp how to care for it, it can be very rewarding. The leaves are usually variegated and can grow in spirals or ovals in vibrant hues of red, orange, green, and yellow.
