I loath littering. You would think in the wake of the gulf oil spill catastrophe people would get the memo and be more conscientious about our earth. WRONG!
I arrive at the train station yesterday evening to find that someone had placed a circular on the wind sheild of each of the vehicles in the lot. As I meandered my way through the maze, I was elated to witness that most people either stuffed the flyer in their bag or tossed it inside their automobile. My mood was quickly altered as I observed some moron fling the circular to the ground. OMG. Ok so i get it. The circular is a nuisance. Would it have killed him to throw it in his trash barrel when he got home? No. Such blatant disregard for our environment is alarming. I was so tempted to shout out "LITTER BUG"! I retstrained myself.
I wish the person who decided to circulate those flyers would've thought of the implication of doing so.
Would you be proud of your child if you caught him/her in the act of littering?

I hate littering, too. If I allow myself to think of ALL the trash we throw away, that makes me sick, too. I'm not a recycle freak though. I put aside some things, but that's about all. I don't throw trash on the ground outside my car. Thats just disgusting.
