Poor Trees

All of our printers at work are programmed to produce output printed on both sides of a piece of paper.  This initiative came from our Eco-Care Team.  It is a great idea, in theory.  Don't get me wrong, I am all about the planet.  I recycle like a fiend.  However this double sided thing, for me anyways, is back-firing.  Why? Because there are times when one sided prints are necessary or even mandatory.  If I want a one sided document, I have to remember to adjust the setting back to one sided.  When I am in the middle of a project and focused on getting the job done, the last thing I remember to do is adjust that setting.  This just happened a 1/2 hour ago.  I tossed 109 pages of double sided prints into the recycle bin to turn around and reproduce 218 single sided prints.

Sometimes you just can't win.
