Just the fuse

It's becoming a trend.  I can't tear myself away.  One day after the other.  My body is molded to my chair.  The threat of a deadline looming near.   Grr...I'm becoming a work-a-holic! I will fix this straight away.

To the streets for some exercise.  I meander over to Commonwealth Ave.  In front of each Brownstown, is a little courtyard/garden.  After one block I come across some type of cold weather flower in bloom.  It is white with a light pink edge and yellow center  Glorious!  I am stunned and thrilled and wish I had someone to share this moment with.  Suddenly a group of girls emerge from the Brownstown infront of me. Ta-da! One of them is carrying a camera.  "Look!" I scream enthusiastically. "This flower, it bloomed and it's not even 40 degrees!".  "Cool" she remarks, as she bends her head into the viewfinder to snap a shot.  Righteous! (I've been trying to bring righteous back for a couple of years now.  It hasn't caught on yet, dam!)

So my latest diversion is taking this painting that I own out of storage.  It hasn't been a part of my decore for 3 years.  In my quest for breaking the monotony, I figured what the hell.  Although it is very ornate and deserves a room of it's own.  Here it is:

Of course Bella had to get in on the gig.  Seeing the painting after so much time has made me fall in love with it all over again.

#1 embarrassing moment of the day-  It happened at work. I was walking back to my desk.  As I made the corner, I slammed right into this blonde and my hand just happened to cup her boob.  Yep, it did.  I think she was too stunned by our collision to notice.

What is making me happy today:

  • My car passed inspection-It failed on Saturday because their machine couldn't communicate with my car's computer.  I am elated since it was a strong possibility it was due to interference with the stereo that I had installed in the fall.  I was wrong. Yippee! It was just a fuse.
  • The christmas cactus has one beautiful hot pink flower
  • The yellow opal stone I bought @ the new age shop
  • It's 5pm and it's still light out
  • My painting
My neighbors (the girl that wrote me the threatening letter) bought a brand spanking new car. Is it wrong of me to want to scratch it with my keys? (sinister laugh.... heh heh hehhh)

Some days everything goes right, and some days everything goes wrong. There are serious questions here. Because life is like this. Some people say that your dreams can also reflect this 'state of mind'.

Perhaps that picture has some kind of magic, and it's doing something to your mind.
