Soul Search

What I see out the window leaves me in awe.  A scene that is lush and green.  Everything is so alive.  My gloomy disposition melts away and I am re-born.  A frisson courses through my body and it lifts me high to the blue sky above.  I glance down and I am a vision in white, posed in a meadow.  Here I am at peace and free from my thoughts.  The sweet fragrance of vanilla wafts through the air. Like an aphrodisiac, it consumes my senses.  Warm gentle breezes caress my skin.  I have found my secret place and it feels quite natural. When life becomes too harsh I will return here to center myself. To become one with the earth again.
